Scope of Project

Our comprehensive approach to Bryden Farm’s energy transformation encompassed several key phases:

Initial Assessment: We conducted a thorough analysis of the farm’s energy consumption patterns, focusing on the specific requirements of dairy operations.
Custom Micro-grid Design: Leveraging our industry knowledge, we designed a bespoke micro-grid solution tailored to the farm’s unique needs, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Phased Implementation: The project was executed in stages, allowing for minimal disruption to daily farm operations. This included:
- Installation of a 220kW solar PV system
- Integration of a 700kWh battery energy storage system (BESS)
- Implementation of smart energy management systems
Project Management: Our team oversaw all aspects of the project, coordinating with various subcontractors and managing interactions with Eskom to ensure seamless grid integration.
